A new mode of action in LLINs

To accelerate the deployment of a new generation of tools

Long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs) are a powerful and effective tool in malaria prevention but the disease, spread by the Anopheles mosquito, remains a major threat in the face of widespread pyrethroid resistance. PermaNet Dual combines two insecticides, chlorfenapyr and deltamethrin, with two modes of action that are proven to be the most effective type of mosquito net for people living in areas with high malaria prevalence and high pyrethroid resistance.

Its launch opens up access to the new dual active ingredient (AI) LLIN segment and will accelerate the deployment of a new generation of tools to achieve faster malaria elimination.

PermaNet Dual is prequalified by the WHO (PQT/VC Ref Number: P-03228).
