Protection that moves with people

Millions of people who live or sleep outside of fixed abodes face harsh conditions in open environments, including mosquitoes that feed outdoors. Dumuria is a protective net designed to move with people, provide shelter, and endure the elements.

Made from a non-mesh, opaque fabric, Dumuria offers privacy and durability. Feedback from distributions in Kenya and South Sudan showed high levels of use and acceptance, with mobile communities preferring Dumuria over standard insecticidal nets. It’s treated with a pyrethroid insecticide and enhanced with UV protection, making it ideal for use in direct sunlight—without compromising its protective efficacy.

As climate, mobility, and humanitarian needs evolve, innovation must keep pace. Discussions are ongoing with global and humanitarian partners to expand the reach of Dumuria—ensuring that malaria prevention tools are as mobile and resilient as the people who use them.
