PermaNet® Dumuria
A mosquito net that protects people sleeping outdoors—wherever they are
Protection that moves with people
PermaNet Dumuria is an outdoor insecticide-treated net designed for mobile and nomadic communities who sleep outside fixed structures. Based on WHO-prequalified PermaNet technology and engineered with UV-resistant, opaque fabric, it provides privacy and durable protection against malaria vectors that feed outdoors.
Feedback from distributions in Kenya and South Sudan showed high levels of use and acceptance, with mobile communities preferring PermaNet Dumuria over standard insecticidal nets. Treated with a pyrethroid insecticide and enhanced with UV protection, which makes it ideal for use in direct sunlight—without compromising its protective efficacy.
As climate, mobility, and humanitarian needs evolve, innovation must keep pace. Discussions are ongoing with global and humanitarian partners to expand the reach of PermaNet Dumuria—ensuring that malaria prevention tools are as mobile and resilient as the people who use them.
